In an effort to allow parking operators to set and manage their own rates as well as increase efficiency internally, we set out to improve the existing rate management tool. Through discovery and research we were able to determine external and internal goals, needs, common uses as well as their pain points. This allowed us to pinpoint the areas of improvement we needed to focus on as well as specific solutions oriented around rate management and recommendation.

Based on our research we found two main areas of improvement that would have the most impact internally and externally. We focused on allowing parking operators to easily set and edit rates in addition to providing price recommendations for each rate. With these efforts we would measure and track internal efficiency as well as self service adoption of the tool by parking operators.
